“V for Verbatim” is now Official!

Here’s something I probably should have done years ago, but the sheer infrequency of updates between 2014 and 2015 made doing so seem pointless. I have claimed, as an official domain name, “V for Verbatim” for my blog, with the “.wordpress.com” fluff finally taken out.

I am treating this as an incentive and challenge to write more – and to update with shorter, crunchier entries that don’t take an hour to get through like the two anti-Trump columns here may have been. If you’re curious as to what’s coming next, it’s another political article, but this time an amicable exchange between myself and a friend who is an ardent supporter of the Donald.  As conservatives, we have much to disagree over in 2016, but in a time where (as my friend Paul put it) the fires of social dysfunction are burning so bright – with friendship bridges everywhere collapsing to ash in the process – it was important to do this. That, however, will not be a particularly short piece.

I have mixed feelings about this. It’s an investment in something that almost feels like a lonesome neglected venture, but writing has always been a passion of mine. Maybe next year I’ll write some plainspoken summaries of issues at play in constitutional law. You’ll still find all my movie, TV, and occasional video game articles on CineKatz.

Here’s to the future!

Allow me to be the first to congratulate you on your own official slice of the interweb. I remember doing something similar nearly a decade ago and it’s so nice to have something of “yours” to fiddle with. Good luck!

Thanks, Rodney! I’ve loved having this, even if I neglected it in nearly all of 2015.
